Standing and Small Equipment For Pilates

Standing and Small Equipment For Pilates

Introduction

To bring your Pilates to the standing position adds a new dynamic to your Pilates by introducing more stability and control, dynamic cardio work and functional movement patterns. You will learn how to apply the principles through controlled flowing movement patterns that challenge micro control, balance, strength and power. This workshop combines both standing movements with small equipment to give you a toolbox of Pilates movements that will keep your participants challenged and benefiting from the unique method.

There is a huge variety of small equipment available for group classes or one to one training sessions in Pilates, core or micro control work. To achieve the best outcomes for our clients it is important to understand how to use any equipment effectively to enhance an exercise, increase its progression and challenge and to bring the clients better results.

This workshop will teach you how to use the equipment, how to apply correct biomechanics to the movement patterns involving the use of a range of small equipment and how to achieve better physiological and anatomical outcomes for your clients by challenging them to use the equipment available.

It is a workshop not to be missed if you want to progress your clients movement patterns, control, stability, balance and core work. You will improve their movements and improve their results. Small equipment includes, bands, balls, blocks and much more. This workshop will help you add variety to your classes and challenge your imagination to work in a unique and varied way.

This course is internationally accepted and recognised by REP’s as credits for professional development. 4 CPD points available
