Functional Nutrition

Functional Nutrition

Introduction

As trainers we are in the best position to give nutritional advice to our class members and clients. Are we not? But what advice do we give? Generally the advise we give isn’t very usable to clients who lead a different lifestyle to us and don’t have the benefit of our knowledge and insight. Functional nutrition uses our nutritional knowledge in a very practical applied way that is meaningful to the client and usable in their everyday lives. This is what makes it functional. It is all well and good knowing the in’s and out’s of the biochemistry of food (and I believe we do) but does that help our class members and clients. Not really! Functional nutrition is about taking the knowledge we have as trainers and applying it to every day and working with our clients on helpful plans, tasks, cooking, corporate lunches, work canteens, the family and the weekly shop and much more. This workshop is the how to of  functional nutrition. We can really make a difference by using your knowledge in this way with your class members and clients.

This course is internationally accepted and recognised by REP’s as credits for professional development. 4 CPD points available
