What Is The Course About? (Level 3 Units)
This 4-day module is designed to cover the multi-modal nature of low back pains, its management and how to prescribe and deliver exercise programmes for this client group.

  • Low back pain prevalence and epidemiology
  • Assessment of modifiable risk factors
  • Co-morbidities and Contra-indications to exercise
  • Exercise referral
  • Functional anatomy and biomechanics of the spine and lower back pain
  • static and dynamic posture
  • integrated resistance exercises
  • multi-plane movement patterns
  • medication, psychological and sociological factors
  • common postural and kinetic chain dysfunctions
  • corrective exercise protocols
  • appropriate training approaches

  • pre-reading
  • 3 day module plus 1 day for assessment

How Much Does It Cost?

£695 as a stand alone or £995 with Therapy Exercise or £1395 with Exercise Referral and Therapy Exercise
If booking with Level 3 Exercise Referral a part funding voucher is available (eligibility criteria applies).

Level 3 advanced instructors and individuals who are working as personal trainers and wishing to train to become a level 4 specialist instructor
