Try these for a perfect pre or post training snack! – delicious, healthy – and easy to make!

Ingredients:

  • Medjool dates (20)
  • crunchy peanut butter  – but can use any nut butter
  • Dark chocolate 150g
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil (optional)

Method:

  1. Cut dates on once side only (not fully into two halves) lengthways to remove stone
  2. Add a teaspoon of crunchy peanut butter inside each date and press closed
  3. Once dates are filled set them aside
  4. Melt the dark chocolate with the coconut oil on slow heat
  5. Once melted, roll each date fully in the chocolate and set on a tray one by one
  6. Place in fridge to cool for at least an hour for chocolate to harden
  7. Keep in fridge 

p.s – try not to eat them all in one go! 😊
