- Technical teaching of a broad range of basic and advanced suspended movement exercises

- Low level suspension training equipment and how to use it effectively such as TRX and Human Trainer
- 5 functional movement patterns, tri planar and the suspension equipment
- Functional exercises suspended through all kinematic angles using the suspension equipment
- Progressive and regressive exercise techniques

What Qualifications Are Needed?
- Level 2 Certificate In Fitness Instructing – Gym-Based Exercise or Exercise To Music (other similar qualifications may be recognised)

- Direct observation of teaching a practical session outside of the gym

How Is The Suspension Training Award Assessed?
- Summative assessment of a range of suspended movement exercises
- Post course submission of a session plan for suspended movement training
- Post course submission of learner achievement portfolio worksheets
Are There Any Books Or Special Equipment That Need To Be Purchased?
- Suitable clothing for training outdoors
- Small backpack or bum-bag containing a water bottle; energy bar; light waterproof jacket, trousers, hat, gloves; and sun cream
- Spare shoes and clothing
- For health and safety considerations, smooth-soled shoes or sandals of any description should not be used
What Can The Qualification Lead To?
- The ability to teach a variety of outdoor and or suspension fitness sessions indoors or outdoors
