A perfect pre or post training snack!
Ingredients:
- 200g dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 150g coconut butter
- 250g desiccated coconut
- 60ml sugar free maple syrup (can use the real thing for the full carb version)
- Vanilla aroma to taste
- Cinnamon to taste
- Cardamom to taste
- Himalayan sea salt to taste
Method
- Mix and melt the coconut butter with the maple syrup and combine well
- Add the desiccated coconut and mix until you have a thick dough
- Add this mixture to the muffin cases (you will need at least 15 standard size for the ingredients listed) and place in the fridge
- Melt the dark chocolate with the coconut oil, the spices and the salt
- Pour melted chocolate mix evenly over the coconut layers and put in the fridge until the chocolate layer becomes firm
Keep in fridge and enjoy!
