A perfect pre or post training snack! 

Ingredients:

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 150g coconut butter
  • 250g desiccated coconut
  • 60ml sugar free maple syrup (can use the real thing for the full carb version)
  • Vanilla aroma to taste
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Cardamom to taste
  • Himalayan sea salt to taste

Method

  1. Mix and melt the coconut butter with the maple syrup and combine well
  2. Add the desiccated coconut and mix until you have a thick dough
  3. Add this mixture to the muffin cases (you will need at least 15 standard size for the ingredients listed) and place in the fridge
  4. Melt the dark chocolate with the coconut oil, the spices and the salt
  5. Pour melted chocolate mix evenly over the coconut layers and put in the fridge until the chocolate layer becomes firm

Keep in fridge and enjoy!
