Flax seed bread
Ingredients
- 2 cups ground flax seeds
- 1tbsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup water
Optional toppings
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp crushed walnuts
Instructions
- Mix flax seeds, cinnamon and baking powder together well
- Beat eggs to smooth and fluffy
- Add water and coconut oil to eggs and mix well
- Combine dry and wet ingredients together thoroughly
- Add to a baking tin and add toppings if you want
- Bake at gas mark 4 for 30-40 mins
- Let it cool before serving
Note:
Can make a savoury version by replacing cinnamon with some salt and pepper and can use sunflower and pumpkin seeds for topping.
