    Who Is Assessment Suitable For?
    • If you have taken a previous Aqua course that is not a full qualification and you want to gain the full recognised qualification you can register for assessment only. Or if you would like to attend a training module with WaterWorks or Hydro-Actif you can register for the module and for the CYQ assessment with Drummond as a package. This will involve a module registration fee and the assessment fee. You can also take the modules as stand alone CPD if already qualified.
    What Pre-requisites Are Needed?

    The level 3 massage short course option is delivered over 3 two day modules which require hands on case study practice between each module and a 4th module of anatomy & physiology. The level 3 sports massage short course option is delivered with exactly the same modules as the short course and with an additional 3 further modules, Postural Analysis and Movement Correction, Advanced Stretch & Mobility Techniques and Business and Marketing. You can also add level 4 sports massage to either the short course option or the long course option for an additional £695. If you cannot make one module in a course you can re-schedule the dates to suit your timetable.  Level 4 Certificate Units. The level 4 certificate is a development module from level 3. This module incorporates a deeper level of knowledge. At level 4 you can expand your knowledge into clinical procedures for assessment and treatment planning.     • Individuals 18 years and over
    • Individuals who wish to change career or add sports massage and soft tissue therapy to their services & business
    What Qualifications Are Needed For Level 3 Sports Massage?
    • There is no pre-requisite for this course as you will take the level 2 and 3 anatomy & phsyiology units as part of this course if you do not already hold them as qualifications. If you do already hold the level 2 and 3 fitness qualifications you can attend just the massage days above and miss the anatomy days if you prefer.
    Level 3 Assessment?
    • Internally assessed worksheets
    • Multiple choice theory papers
    • Internally assessed practical examinations
    • Demonstrations of anatomical landmarks, origins and insertions
    • Observation of client management and care
    Level 4 Assessment
    • Conducting an objective physical assessment
    • Applying neuromuscular and soft tissue mobilisation techniques
    • Prescribing corrective exercise to support the treatment of common injuries
    Are There Any Books Or Special Equipment That Need To Be Purchased?
    • No, all course materials are available to download from your online learning centre
    • You will receive a hard copy of the Mel Cash Sports Massage text as additional reading
